Travers Solar puts the Village of Lomond on the map as home to Canada’s largest solar project. PCL brought in our Stantec team to provide civil and electrical engineering services for the solar array, along with CIMA + for substation design, and Tulloch Engineering for pile design. We worked diligently to complete the electrical, civil and storm water management design, creating a balanced site with care and precision. Owned by one of Axium Infrastructure managed funds with Axium acting as an asset manager, Travers generates enough electricity to power 163,568 homes and offset 323,835 tons of carbon emissions annually.

A fairly unique project delivered during some very challenging times in a relatively remote location. Amazing project – hopefully there will be many more to come in the future!
