MESSAGE FROM THE CEA PRESIDENT
T HE CONSULTING ENGINEERS of Alberta (CEA) work to protect and enhance the profile of consulting
engineers, and the showcase awards celebrate the innovations and creativity of our industry. They illustrate how consulting engineers can deliver exceptional value and success for our clients with the right team.
As the proud unified voice for our industry, CEA represents firms of all sizes throughout the province. We support early project involvement and alternative procurement and project delivery models to provide cost effective solutions to budgetary and scheduling challenges. Our Board has been working with all levels of government and we are appreciative of the open communication regarding the priority of sustainable and predictable funding for our industry.
Along with various other industries in Alberta, the consulting engineering sector is responding to changing demographics and other external forces. Finding and developing our future workforce has ongoing challenges.
By promoting our collective project successes, we continue to instill pride within our industry. By displaying our creativity and innovation, we encourage the attraction and retention of diverse and passionate talent.
CEA and our member firms continue to work together to earn and maintain respect for the consulting engineering profession. The partnerships we cultivate with public and private sector clients and other industry groups are vital to the continued success of engineering projects in Alberta. We recognize that innovation and gaining experience are perpetual pursuits, and we continue to learn and adapt to new challenges.
